out of the blue, i got an invitation to be hosted by one of the most talented web designer around.
Brenda rocks!
i'm just thinking of a name for my webbie.
So apocalips will be moving.
And there will be a name change.

It's another Friday gone by.
And everytime I meet my relatives or friends they all ask me "How's your new job?" "Chances of staying?"
Honest to goodness, I don't know.
Like I said I'm suffering from quarter-life crisis. I'm a twenty-something woman not knowing what she wants in her life yet.
On one hand, I can do this job. They want me to learn more cos I "learn fast". Which from my 2 years of working knowledge tells me it translates to "We're short-handed. You seem to be able to handle it. Can you do more work?".
And call me lazy, but I believe that if your working hours is 8.45 to 5.45.. and that's how it should be. Unless of course it's my passion. Unfotunately I can only dabble on design as a part- time freelancer. In Singapore, one has to always thrived to be the BEST.
We are all rushing for time. Time = money. It's time we should take a step back and enjoy life.
I met up with a friend who's studying in Australia. She told me when she's here, what she misses is the laid back lifestyle she has adopted there. She said that the last bus there is 5.30PM. Meaning, everyone's home by that time. And shops closes early. Like 7pm or so. Nightlife is boring but you've got more time to spend with your friends and family.
And get this, NO ONE horns at the traffic. Everyone just waits patiently.

the past week has been busy. REALLY.
it was the birthday week and i had plans!
ALL failed cos i fell sick on Monday with fever and flu..
was really bad that i couldn't even sit up straight. my head was really heavy...
stayed home on tuesday again and i can imagine what the people at work would say.
"budak baru tu, baru kerje sebulan dah lima hari cuti. tsk tsk."
oh well. it's not like i asked to be sick.
but still i gathered up enough energy to meet up my girls at Swensen's for a small celebration. it was suppossed to be at Esplanade. but it was great nonetheless. i love my girls... i got what i wanted! :D
