nice song. great lyrics.
Leave Right Now - Will Young
I'm here just like I said
Though its breaking every rule I've ever made
My racing heart is just the same
Why make it strong to break it once again?
And I'd love to say I do
Give everything to you
But I can never now be true
So I say...
I think I'd better leave right now
Before I fall any deeper
I think I'd better leave right now
Feeling weaker and weaker
Somebody better show me how
Before I fall any deeper
I think I'd better leave right now
I'm here so please explain
Why you're opening up a healing wound again
I'm a little more careful
Perhaps it shows
But if I lose the highs, at least I'm spared the lows
Now I tremble in your arms
What could be the harm
To feel my spirit calm
I wouldn't know how to say
How good it feels seeing you today
I see you've got your smile back
Like you say you're right on track
But you may never know why
Once bitten twice is shy
If I'm proud perhaps I should explain
I couldn't bear to lose you again
Women Vs Men

I'm sure by now everyone knows about the new 'reality' TV-series called The Apprentice.
You know the one where managers, company founders, restaurant owners, yadayada...
all live under the same roof with the hopes to work for Mr Donald Trump and be much
more richer than they already were in the first place.
The one that was described as 'Survivor in designer suits'.
The ones that shows us that wearing designer togs doesn't necessarily make you a
better person than the rest of us. Yup. That show.
Remember when we were kids, we always say "Girls rule, boys drool!"
And we saw exactly that! Despite all the bitching that going on, for four (not one, but FOUR)consecutive weeks, the women won.
I'm sure all the guys are scratching their heads, bewildered.
Who else but only a woman can explain this phenomenon...so let me enlighten you the top 5 reason why women win.
5. Sisterhood - there's this weird thing called sisterhood. We'll stick together defeat MEN cos we'll never let men come between us.
4. Persuasive - We have mastered the art of persuasion.
3. Bitchy - Being bitchy translates to competitiveness. No one can be better than us. We have to win.
2. Creativity - We think out of the box. You know when a guy says 'No',they mean 'No'. But when a woman says 'No', it means 'Yes'. Men looks at things as it is. Women sees BEYOND that.

For some reason, I wore blue to work.
But I'm not going to talk about my clothes here.
I'd like to announce that I'm truly saddened by Singaporeans mannerism.
Or lack thereof.
It was the morning rush hour as usual on the Mass Rapid Transit(fondlyknown as MRT).
You know sometimes when you're late and you need to go REALLY fast? And everyone seems to be blocking your way for some reason.
You're late, frustrated and hungry, even.
You're taking the escalator and you wanted to squeeze through the crowds but these people do not know how to keep totheir left so that we could "overtake" them on the right. (Right lane for overtaking, what...)
Question, what do you do?
The right answer would be to say "Excuse me".
Even in an irritated voice, you should say excuse me. You are asking these people, who have every right to stand on whichever side of the escalator that they want, to move aside so YOU could pass through. YOU are asking for help.
But guess what I heard this morning?
A very smartly dressed lady was trying to get through the crowds and she shouts "MOVE IT!"
Can you believe that?
And no one moved at first. Then in an even annoyed voice, she practically screamed "Move It! tsk."
Normarlly I would have made a remark about how rude she was. But this morning, I was just appalled at her rudeness, it left me speechless.
My verdict: Either she got up on the wrong side of the bed or she's PMSing.

I came to work today and thought I had died and gone to heaven!
My Lotus Notes program indicated that I had a LOT of emails unread during my medical leave.
One read "On Long Leave".
It was from my boss.
I was ready to blow up some balloons to celebrate when I realise that,
I had 2 days of work to clear! Oh well. So much for celebrating.
On a different note...There's this song I really like by StarSailor. I don't exactly know why I like it so much. It's just a great song. Great melody. Very melancholic alternative rock types...
Four To The Floor - Starsailor
With hand on heart your right from the start,
You taught me to take my part.
No cross to bear,
no reason to care,
my life was all up in air.
Four to the floor, I was sure, never seeing clear,
I could have it all, whenever you are near.
The iron hand
did not understand
the plight of the common man.
Four to the floor I was sure, never seeing clear,
I could have it all whenever you are near.
Four to the floor I was sure, that you would be my girl,
We'd rent a little world, have a little girl.

HOPELESS
11.15PM 14/07/2004
Will you give me hope
When all I have is gone
Will you piece me back together
When my whole life is torn
Will you sing me a lullaby
So I can sleep tight tonight
Will you make funny faces
Just to make me smile wide
Will you always tell the truth
Even if it makes me cry
Will you still remember me
Even when I die
Will you be the person
Whom I talk to last
Will you be right by my side
As i take my last breath
No. I don't think so.
You just don't care.

I'm sick in bed.
I have a 2 day Medical Leave.
But darn, I just can't fall asleep.
I'll drift off to dreamland for an hour or so,
then I'll wake up.
And I can't get back to sleep.
But I feel drowsy.
I hate this.
I need to sleep.
I just can't.
