Why I quit my old work place?

I would not have left if they paid me slightly more, not care if I stayed back or not - as long as my work is done on time, and they kick this habit of theirs to fire anyone who got into the bad books of the "power people". Especially when they want to change premises and wanting to cut down on staff.

My team, consisting of my friend and I, were "warned" by the Director's darrrling that a lot of the Malay are targeted first at the "Operation to Downsize Staff So We Can All Squeeze 3 Floors OF Staff To 1". Being a fellow Malay, she decided to warn us as the Director has been hinting about it.

Which made me think. Since they're targeting Malays, doesn't that makes her VULNERABLE too? My bad. I forgot. She's the Director’s DARRRLING after all. It was NICE of her to warn us about it. In other words (pardon my mother tongue), "Aku bilang korang sebab kiter samer Melayu. Tapi korang yg nak kena sebab aku nie boss nyer kesayangan. Sebab tu dia bilang aku. Kat sini nyer team dah takder melayu selain kiter tiga. So, faham faham jer lah. Antara korang dua."

A pay rise confirm our suspicion. One of us will go and the other would have to do both our work. Which is absurd. We can't cope two of us and they intend to make it one only. Well, we thought we'll be helpful by helping them downsize the staff by resigning. And the plan was priceless. We both tendered a day difference. And they PANICKED. No one else know our jobs. But hey, you've been torturing us. Now it's our turn.

I got my revenge.

This job?

Lets just say it kind of made me regret I quit my previous job. I said, kind of regret. Kind of. But not really.
