Day 2 is much better.
To make myself feel better and more comfortable, I came prepared today. I bought my daily dose of Nescafe (gold one, Kopi susu flavour), a bottle of mineral water and was pissed the 7-eleven did not sell Polar Cakes. Damn. Must find out what time Polar opens. So I can get my morning sugar roll fix. I also brought along my jacket. Left-over from my Year 3 Poly interview test. Bought that office jacket back then and had no opportunity to wear it.
Yayness.
- I got a phone line!
- I managed to request for the same lunchtime as my friends who are working nearby.
- Found out there's OT pay!
- Listening to radio via my hp. I love my K700i!
- There's a probability that they are hiring a few more people as the tables beside me are empty with workstations and I heard my "supervisor" saying all these tables need a phone. (Oh god, please help me! I NEED friends!)
Yucks.
- I still have no waste paper basket!
- Loads of filing to do.
- Loads of letters to draft. (This requires research through the files as they did not TEACH me what to do. Basket.)
- Still no one to talk to.
- People here seems to be on a diet. I don't see them going lunch.
